Intentional Mom life with Jesus: Scheduling, Planning, Productivity, Mindset, Selfcare, Time Management

Do you struggle to manage your time? Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed or mom guilt because everything on your never-ending todo list feels important? Is it a constant struggle to connect with God in your busy life as a stay at home/work from home mom? Do you wish you could find a balance and flow in your mom life? Well momma, I’m glad you’re here! This podcast is here to help you connect with God so that you can balance your life and schedule, get organized, and be that living example as you train up your children in the way they should go. Hi, I’m Sasha Star Robertson. Child of God, Wife, Boymom, and Intentional Living and Biblical Mindset Coach for moms. Shortly after becoming a stay-at-home mom I found myself wondering things like, what is my role, how do I get everything done, how do I find a good schedule or structure my days, where’s the time for God, and where’s the time for me? Trying to do all the things on my own, left me feeling defeated under my own high expectations. Going with the flow of the day left me feeling like I had no real structure, organization, or time. I finally realized that I had to prioritize my time with God, so that everything else could fall into place. Instead of feeling like I’m always so far behind, I now feel organized, productive, confident, and at peace. Once I partnered with God, my mindset towards motherhood and home transformed as Jesus took control of schedule and routines. Together we created an intentionally abundant motherhood plan that I’m excited to share with you! If you are ready to: Partner with God in your motherhood journey. Create a schedule that actually works for YOU. Get organized, find balance, feel productive, and simplify your life. Get in a little selfcare for mom. Spend more time doing the things that matter most to you. Then grab your cold brew or kombucha, strap those kiddos into the car seat, and let’s binge some Mom Life with Jesus. Want to go deeper? In this episode Sasha shares about God being a God of confirmation and how that is one of the ways He shows us His will for us. She shares about obedience to God and what that can look like even when it feels scary because it's the opposite of what the world says or what logic will tell us.
Sasha encourages us with stories from her own life and a deep season of obedience that He has has her in this year as well as how He is calling her deeper right now. She shares about being deeply rooted in Him, saying "yes Lord", and encourages listeners to lean into that space with faith whether its a NEW thing He is calling you into, or one that He has been confirming for you that you only need to remain steadfast in.

In today's episode Sasha shares about the completion of her first official triathlon as well as some takeaways and inspiration that applies to all areas of life and everyone.
For starters, we have to start setting goals and looking towards what we are desiring to achieve. So many of us set 'one day' goals, but then 'one day' never comes. But once we do set the goals, it does all start with belief and whether you are confident in your ability to achieve the desired result you've set out to achieve. After that, it's so simple to work backwards and break down those big goals into action steps. Sasha shares more about this in detail as well as personal testimony and examples across multiple areas of life.
It's so interesting and encouraging how physically challenging your body requires so much mindset. It's so important to know about and make this distinction between where our mindset is contributing to the results were creating, not just in the physically challenges we face but all of them. In this episode Sasha shares more about this topic of mindset and beliefs behind our actions. Momma Friends, you do NOT want to miss out on this I AM MOM - a life giving 'momference'! In this episode Sasha and Deborah Smith share a conversation about discipleship, primarily as it pertains to children. Deb says, "It's an important role that we've been give and we need to take it a little bit seriously." Deb shares ways that we can bring our children to know and love God and His word through our own intentional actions and examples. Don't worry, Deb doesn't come with a check list of to do items, but encourages moms to break it down into smaller routines, keeping it simple (and fun), and then building on that.
Listen in for practical tips and examples on how Deb disciples her daughter and how her passion to bring her daughter to know the truth about God shines through her daily living.

*Trigger Warning* This episode starts out with some nice casual conversation between Sasha & Shannon, but then they dive deep as Shannon shares about some traumatic parts of her youth and young adulthood. This episode includes stories of abuse, rape, domestic violence, and contains some explicit language. But it doesn’t stop there, it ends with a lot of encouragement and powerful takeaways to help moms lead the way in changing their family environments to empower and equip their children to prevent similar abuse from happening to them.
Shannon Earley is the host of the Mamas need Love Podcast, mom of 4 littles, Jesus Lover, survivor, and MOPS leader.
Shannon shares about her triumphant stories of these God moments where He stepped into her life and brought her into this relationship with Him and transformed her life circumstances and beliefs. She shares about how God orchestrates things in our lives to bring so much goodness even through some of the most difficult circumstances that life can bring about. She encourages us in that even if/when God says no, it’s okay because He is still good.
Psalm 40:1-4 was a powerful verse that stood out to Shannon and brought her through some really difficult times.
Sasha believes that when we are able to share about these traumatic difficult stories in life, we are able to remind others that they are not alone in their struggles and/or the pit of destruction.
Sasha shares about some of her childhood trauma and how God re-wrote that story for her. John 10:10 is Sasha’s key verse that helps remind her of God’s goodness and the true enemy we all share.
Sasha and Shannon do not leave the conversation at the hard stuff though. This episode comes full circle where they both share some practical takeaways to help moms set a better example for our families, share in open conversation, and love our children well through connection, responding, and more.

In this episode Sasha sits down (on Zoom) with a new client that at the same time won this bonus free coaching call by earning the title of Intentional Momma of the Month in the Intentional Abundance Community on Facebook... you know, the Productively Peaceful Moms Club that Sasha invites you to in nearly every episode. ;)
Only 2 weeks into coaching with Sasha, Camella brings a boat load of wins to this call from the breakthrough she received in her most recent coaching call. One small shift with Camella's thoughts and beliefs unlocked her mindset around her faith and her relationship with God. Which then had a snowball effect in her family relationships, her writing, and so much more!
This call took place in December of 2021 and Camella has since continued working with Sasha finding even more breakthrough as she has been mastering her mindset and stepping forward into who God has called and created her to be. In the 4 months since, she is now 50% of the way through writing her book.

In this powerful coaching call Sasha helps Ashley dig into her mindset (and a little strategy) surrounding social media in relation to her business.
Ashley had a past experience that had been standing in the way of her showing up on social media sharing about the message that God has placed on her heart to bring freedom to families. It created thoughts and beliefs that cluttered up her ability to show up for the people that needed exactly what she has been gifted to share.
Maybe you can relate to this in business or social media, or, maybe you notice these same types of avoidance behaviors stemming from a completely unrelated past experience of your own. Regardless of your personal experience, so much can be gleaned from listening in on the sharing and coaching of another. It’s the mindset work that matters most. That is where the shifts happen, and that is exactly what Sasha helped Ashley with on this call, as Sasha does on most of her client calls.
